§ 2-181. Established.

(a)

The Independence Traffic Safety Commission is continued.

(b)

The Commission shall consist of seven members, and a nonvoting City Council liaison. Three members shall be residents of the city, one member may be either a resident of the city or employed within the city and one each shall be from the city Police Department, the Public Works Department and the Community Development Department. The Commission shall meet as the need arises but not less than twice a year.
