§ 32-107. Vehicle weight restrictions.

No person shall operate upon any street or bridge in this city a vehicle the weight of which exceeds the maximum for such street or bridge, as such maximum may be posted by sign erected by the city. In addition to any penalty provided in this Code for the violation of this section, any person convicted of a violation of this section may be required by the court to pay the cost of repairing any street or bridge damaged by reason of such violation, which cost may exceed the cost of repairing the damage proximately caused by the violation.
