§ 34-83. Meters to be owned by city.

All water meters shall be owned and maintained by the city. Meters may be tested, repaired, relocated and interchanged by the city as required without regard to who paid the initial cost of the meter and installation so long as the premises continues to be supplied through the meter adequate for its needs.
