§ 6-108. Display of address number.

  • Address numbers posted shall be the same as the number listed on the county assessment and taxation records for the property. All address numbers shall be posted in a conspicuous place on a contrasting background so they may be read from the listed street or public way.

    (1)

    Residential structures shall have a minimum of three-inch-high address numbers.

    (2)

    Residential spaces located within a manufactured home park shall be clearly numbered or lettered on the permanent carport structure of each residential site or another permanent structure for each site, if a carport is not present. The address numbering shall have the same standards as residential structures.

    (3)

    Units within apartment houses shall be clearly numbered or lettered.

    (4)

    Commercial structures shall have a minimum of four-inch-high address numbers.
