§ 6-125. Heating equipment and facilities.

  • (a)

    All heating equipment, including that used for cooking, water heating, heat, and clothes drying shall be: Installed, connected, and free from leaks and obstructions and capable of safely performing the function for which they are designed.

    (b)

    Every dwelling unit shall have a heating facility capable of maintaining a room temperature at a comfortable level in all habitable spaces. Portable heating devices may not be used to meet the dwelling's heat supply requirements of this division.
