§ 8-24. Same—Revocation.

The Chief of Police or the Chief's agent may at any time, during the continuance of the auction, stop the same upon being satisfied that the auction is being conducted in violation of any of the provisions of the ordinances of the city. The auction shall not continue unless permitted to do so by the Council. The Council upon hearing may revoke the license of any person found guilty of violating this article, and no new license shall be issued to such licensee or to any co-partnership or association of which the person is a member or to any corporation of which the person is an officer within three years hereafter.
