§ 8-382. Direct route to be traveled; fares not charged when vehicle disabled.

  • (a)

    Any taxicab driver employed to carry passengers to a definite point shall take the most direct route possible that will carry the passenger safely and expeditiously to his destination.

    (b)

    In the event any vehicle described herein shall, while under employment, become disabled or break down without fault of the passenger, the time of stoppage shall be deducted from the charge.
