§ 2-6. Ordinance introduction and reading.

  • A proposed ordinance is introduced by its first reading. The first reading shall be by reading by title and reference to the full text of the ordinance in the Council chambers but, upon request of three Councilors, the first reading of a proposed ordinance shall be a reading of the ordinance in its entirety. A motion for the adoption of the ordinance shall constitute a call for the reading of the ordinance.
