§ 2-7. Ordinance second reading.

According to the Charter, each proposed ordinance shall receive two readings unless a unanimous vote of the Councilors present approves the ordinance after the first reading. If there is a dissenting vote, the second reading shall not take place until the next official Council meeting. Voting on the question of passage of the ordinance may follow immediately after the second reading.
