§ 6-198. Violations.

(a)

The offenses described in this article are an Independence Municipal Code Class A violation, per section 1-22.

(b)

A finding of a violation of this article shall not relieve any responsible party of the duty to abate the violation. The penalties imposed by this section are in addition to and not in lieu of any other remedies available to the city.

(c)

If a provision of this article is violated by a firm or corporation, the officer or officers or person or persons responsible for the violation may also be subject to any penalties imposed by this article, or article III of this chapter.
