§ 8-320. Application.

Latest version.

An applicant for taxicab license shall make application and shall provide the following information:
(1)

Name, business address and residence of the owner or owners of the business;

(2)

Make, year, type and passenger seating capacity of each taxicab for which application is made;

(3)

A statement whether the owner or owners of the business have ever been convicted of any crime, misdemeanor or violation of municipal ordinance, other than minor traffic and parking offenses;

(4)

Such other information as the City Council or City Manager may deem necessary for the proper protection of the public;

(5)

The application shall be signed by the applicant; such signature shall constitute the applicant's consent to an investigation conducted by the city;

(6)

Fees for application of taxicab license shall be as established by resolution of the City Council.
